Reporting To:Payroll Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of payroll team to co-ordinate and input payroll in a timely manner with tight deadlines
  • Download, verification, and balancing of timesheets
  • Generating payroll, including calculating garnishees, vacation/holiday pay and sick day pay
  • Helping with year-end preparation of T4s
  • Processing employment application
  • Preparation of Records of Employment
  • Producing reports for HR and Finance as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with computerized payroll (Dynamics experience an asset)
  • CPA Certification would be an asset
  • Experience using reporting tools
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet and database skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Speed along with Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
