Clarington Compost Site

In September 2007, Miller Compost opened its second outdoor windrow compost facility in Ontario. Located in Courtice, Ontario, this 75,000 tonne facility will compost Durham Region’s Leaf & Yard Waste, as well as processing scrap lumber that would be otherwise destined for landfill.

Currently, this facility is only accepting material from municipal and commercial sources. Residents are asked to visit the Durham Region's website for designated sites where they can take their material for composting. Please visit them for instructions
