Project Description:
This 8.1 km stretch of Highway 401 was reconstructed and the structure rehabilitated. The rehabilitation work on the Hogg's Hollow structure posed some unique construction constraints. The Hogg's Hollow structure was situated directly above the West Don River.

Project Description:
A new Major Mackenzie Drive structure over Highway 400 was constructed adjacent to the existing structure. Once the new structure and ramps were complete, the traffic was shifted over and the existing structure was prepared for demolition. A full mainline closure of Highway 400 for eight hours was required to completely remove the bridge deck and sub-structure.
