Miller Transit Ltd.

Miller Transit has offered Public Transit operational services to municipalities since 1984. We are currently under contract with the Regional Municipality of York servicing the Town of Markham and Town of Richmond Hill area.

Miller Transit takes full responsibility for the operation, maintenance and repair of a fleet of 135 municipally owned buses of various makes, models, and lengths, including the new style low floor, wheel chair accessible buses.

Miller supplies all staff to operate the system, including drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, driver trainers, shop and related equipment, wash bays, and parking lots, for an hourly rate based on revenue earning operating hours.

Miller is also responsible for the maintenance and repairs to their G.F.I. Farebox system, including the producing of various data reports and dumping of fareboxes in to the vault.

The municipality regulates the scheduling, routing and timing for Transit and also collects and manages the fares for the total system.

Miller Transit drivers' have been the recipients of numerous national and local driving and safety awards.
