Miller Paving Limited has experience in participating in Design Build Projects, including successfully completing two of the first projects undertaken by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

These projects were:

  • Hwy 11  Longlac to Geraldton
  • Hwy 47 Goodwood intersection

Miller also recently completed the York University to Downsview Busway Design Build project for the Toronto Transit Commission.

Project Name: TTC – Busway Design Build
Project Location: Downsview Station to York University
Value: $17,500,000
Partners: Morrison Hershfield

TTC's first Design Build project in response to the Transit Spending Initiative to facilitate easier access to York University.  Project involved construction of a new busway route along existing arterial roads and an adjacent Hydro One corridor.

Project Name: MTO HWY 11 Design Build
Project Location: Hwy 11 - Longlac to Geraldton
Value: $11.0 million
Partners: McCormick Rankin

One of MTO's first Design Build contracts in Northern Ontario. Project included complete rehabilitation of HWY 11 from Longlac to Geraldton including a new bridge superstructure.

Project Location: Hwy 47 - Goodwood Intersection
Value: $600,000

One of MTO's first Design Build contracts in Central Ontario.  Project included complete re-design and construction of the Goodwood Intersection.
