The Miller Group

Miller Environmental Corporation

Miller Environmental Corporation (Miller) was founded on January 1, 1996 through the purchase of assets from the Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation, a Crown Corporation that was created in 1989.

Miller operates a fully licensed hazardous waste transfer station in Winnipeg and a treatment and processing facility located 70 kilometers south of Winnipeg in the R.M of Montcalm in Manitoba.

Our goal to “safely manage hazardous waste” is accomplished by incorporating procedural soundness in every action we take, with an emphasis on mitigating all environmental impacts, while taking into account all safety and health aspects associated with the management of hazardous waste.

Miller is the only hazardous waste management company in Canada that has an integrated management system (IMS) that includes three recognized certifications: ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

Our business relationships are based upon a cooperative and respectful principle. This approach has lead to the development of successful collection programs and maximized the returns to all stakeholders through mutually beneficial relationships.

Miller has become one of the largest industrial waste treatment and processing companies in Western Canada and provides a viable alternative to generators located across Canada.
