Miller employees served as mentors at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Girls Can Too program, which is designed to introduce and prepare female-identifying youth for trades-based careers in the environmental sector. Miller hosted workshops on the importance of aggregates, water sampling, tools and trucks, and career sessions with some of our female employees to highlight what career paths are available for women or girls interested in the working in the trades.
It was an engaging way for young women to learn about the variety of career opportunities at Miller and how they can get involved in these fields.
