Shwe Miikaan Miller

Shwe Miikaan Limited Partnership uniquely represents the three First Nations communities of Shawanaga, Magnetawan, and Henvey Inlet, dating back to 2016. Together we are committed to building robust infrastructure that positively impacts the community and prioritizes sustainable growth and respectful development for the well-being of generations to come.

Through this partnership, the Partner Nations offer labour, support services, and some equipment while Miller offers training, resources, and expertise as a qualified MTO provider.

Shwe Miikaan Miller reflects the rights of the First Nations communities in determining the treatment of their lands, with 51% of the partnership owned by Shwe Miikaan LP and 49% owned by Miller Paving Ltd.

Shwe Miikaan is dedicated to fostering equal participation of Robinson Huron Treaty Territory (RHTT) First Nations in Northern Ontario’s infrastructure projects. We recognize the importance of traditional and reserve lands and work in partnership to ensure their protection and consideration in all development efforts.

Since it was formed, Shwe Miikaan Miller has been engaged in a variety of projects ranging from bridge and culvert rehabilitation to road development to aggregate supply.
