These projects consisted of working with GDOT for an approved mix design to reconstruct and widen existing 22’ road sections with severe fatigue cracking and potholes. The roads are high volume roads that were not built to handle the truck traffic.
Buckeye Road is a connector road between Wrightsville and Dublin and Fellowship Road is an industrial road with a lumber mill, landfill and bulk flour industries operating at the terminus. The roads were widened an additional foot each side by pulverizing the existing pavement section and mixing with cement to create a new stabilized base coarse ready to be primed and paved with a new asphalt wearing surface by each of the prime contractors.
